Communication With God

Through prayer we talk with God believers, we have the greatest privilege that may exist able to communicate through prayer with the highest being in the universe. Through death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ (the great high priest) Hebrews 4:14-16, Ephesians 1:18 and Acts 26:23. Through his word God the Father is manifested in our lives as a loving and merciful Father, (not as a being cold and impersonal force), we are encouraged by his fatherly love, ordinary people can come before Him boldly. In the earthly life of Jesus Christ always existed communication with God the Father, which he strengthened through prayer. The same night that Jesus was betrayed was presented in prayer before the Father (John 17:21-23). If prayer was so important to the God-Man is then the more necessary for human beings, prayer is what helps us, guides and strengthens our daily lives and the most powerful weapon against Satan.

Why pray?

The human being does not need to pray to tell God about the situations surrounding it (weaknesses, temptations, etc..) And needs (Matthew 6:32). The omniscient as God in his wisdom (wisdom) to know everything there is nothing hidden. The Believer (humans) do not need to try to change the attitude of God in our prayer, God is not an entity (which is, exists or can exist) cosmic intention is to harm humans. The believer has the assurance and confidence through prayer, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14) The purpose of our prayer is not God's intention to change the contrary is to combine (join or agree) their will on our lives.

• To pray does not make us lose consciousness or identity by joining with God, as many religions claim.
• No experience some mystical union (enclosing mystery) with God.
• Prayer is an intimate relationship between two people, neither of which are considered to become part of the other. Still, there is a spiritual element in prayer.
• Believers feel the presence of God working in their lives, which is always at his side.
• Prayer makes a difference in our lives (Sgto. 5:16)
In his infinite wisdom (wisdom), God designed the prayer an important part between Him and man, through this communication (prayer) intimate that we have with God, we participate (cooperate) with the role God plays in issues and their treatment of his people.
• Prayer is for our sole benefit, not God.
• God does not need the prayers of men to do her bidding, eternal purposes in our lives.
• Prayer encourages his love, mercy and faithfulness.
• It helps us grow spiritually.
• Prayer is an essential element in our growth to spiritual maturity.
• The prayer continues to be an effective force in the world.

Balanced Prayer

Since prayer is so vital to the believer's spiritual maturity and a healthy relationship with two, it is necessary that the following experiences are included in a balanced life of prayer and fellowship.

Worship

We should be shocked into a sense of awe and reverence to be in the presence of being bigger than exists. When we enter into meditation on who God is, a sense of esteem of God fills our hearts, focusing on its perfection. Believers clear their minds of any concerns of daily life, preventing them from feeling the presence of God working in their lives. God is spirit, He wants to be worshiped in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24).

The Confession

Recognize the holiness of God gives us a sense of sin that needs to confess our sins and offenses (Isaiah 6:5). All believers need cleaning that occurs the confession of our sins. (1st John 1:9). This tells us that God acts with absolute justice and mercy, sin forgiving every time we go before him with a contrite heart God will not despise (Psalm 51:17). Our refusal to accept the forgiveness of God prevents our spiritual growth, prayer is the spiritual antidote.

Worship

Comforted (force or forces) by the Father's forgiveness ament (1st John 4:10) we need to tell God how much we love him. An atmosphere of worship and warm affection envelops and distinguishes good prayer. Express love him be more wonderful than may exist, through our words and deeds is the only appropriate response for anyone who loves the believers (1st 3:1, 4:16).

Praise

While worship THROUGH express appreciation and love of God, in praise we pay all taxes to the King of Kings as he does in our lives. He is worthy of all praise for his mighty acts (Psalm 150:2), believers should celebrate their love, kindness, mercy, grace, loyalty and compassion for us (Psalm 145:4-5 and 145:9). When we honor God and give all the credit of our lives we grow and mature spiritually, praise projects a positive image of life to remember all the favors from God.

Thank You

It is a very important aspect to include in our prayers thank action (give thanks), having received the forgiveness of God's grace and the support (protection) of their forces, believers owe a deep sense of gratitude. Giving thanks to God the duty of every believer, every day we have to present us with thanks for the hard times (bad) and good times. (1st Thessalonians 5:18). Experiences that cause tensions, frustrations we face them with thanksgiving that we produce inner peace (Philippians 4:6-7), recognize that God is in control at all times no matter how difficult the situation or problem and that all this help and promote spiritual growth, a reason to give thanks. (Romans 8:28 and Sgt. 1:2-4).

Intercession

Through prayer also asked God to meet the needs of another. The Apostle Paul prayed regularly for spiritual maturity of believers (Philippians 1:9-11 and 1:16-23). Through prayer we can positively influence the lives of others with different situations, beyond the limits of your resources and abilities.

Petitions

Prayer is talking and telling all to our heavenly Father (Philippians 4:6), we ask for help for our future plans, personal projects, problems, for our spiritual growth. Jesus urged his followers to carry all the requests (order) before God the Father in His name (John 16:23-24). Prayer is the vehicle for any divine help for our needs.

Prayer in the Bible

Prayer plays a vital and very important in God's people in biblical times. Leaders such as Abraham, Moses, Nehemiah, Elijah, Daniel, Jeremiah and King David. All testify to the direct intervention of God in their lives through prayer. Jesus during his earthly ministry regularly prayed to His Father in heaven, the apostles and early church prioritized prayer.

Response to requests

• The Old Testament records many instances of how God responded to his people the petitions.
• The early leaders of Israel knew the strength and fortitude to get through prayer.

Examples:

1. When gold Abimalec Abraham (Genesis 20:17-18)
2. During the pilgrimage of the Jewish people and rebellion (Numbers 11:12; 14: 12-16 and 21:7)
The story of the Israelite nation was one of recurring withdrawals of God, divine rebuke and release obtained through prayer. After the people repented of their idolatry, God broke the rule (army) Philistine on the people of Israel, in response to the prayer of Samuel (1st Samuel 7:5-13)
• Next to Saul to become the first King of Israel (1st Samuel 12:16-23)
In the Old Testament prayer was crucial in his earthly ministry Jesus prayers were related to the descent of the Holy Ghost at his baptism (Luke 3:21-22).

Other verses of references:

• Selection of the twelve apostles (Luke 6:12)
• The Confession of Peter (Luke 9:18-20) and (Matthew 16:16)
• The Transfiguration (Luke 9:28-32)
• Betrayal (22:40-44)
• Election to replace Judas (Acts 1:24-25)
• Outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Samaritans (Acts 8:14-17)
Through prayer God prepared, strengthened, inspired and guided a team of the early church for effective ministry.

Timeouts

In biblical times God never answered the requests of his people immediately. In some cases wait until the last minute (for the right time.)
• The complaints seemed to ignore Job's servant, as he went from bad to worse. (Job 3:11-23, 7:20; 42:8-10 and Stgo. 5:11)
• Couples yearning for children waited on God, like Anna when she went to the temple (1st Samuel 1:5-7, 20)

Choosing the best path

Our heavenly Father often refused requests to us because He knows what is best for their children. In some cases, our requests are denied, not because they are stupid or bad is that our father has something much better for us. For example, the sting of the Apostle Paul, three times gold for his release and God refused. My grace is sufficient, for my power is made perfect in weakness. (2nda. Corinthians 12:7-10).

Results of our prayers

Prayer remains the most effective force in the modern world, many people (not Christians) have declined from the scientific viewpoint of supernatural intervention in our daily lives, is abundant evidence that God answers prayers, petitions God's people exercising their influence on individual lives in our times as in biblical times. We need not be a super Christian or a supernatural man to know the power of prayer. There are millions of testimonies of faithful responses of God through the prayers of his children, his faith report receiving spiritual strength and courage when they pray. People with fatal diseases have been miraculously healed through prayer.
• The establishment of churches in places where the Gospel is forbidden in response to fervent prayer.
Souls lost in sin (drugs, prostitution, homosexuality etc.) Have been processed through a prayer each year on behalf of a family member or an entire congregation.

Expectations of prayer

Believers frequently experience a feeling of frustration when you do not get immediate results from their prayers. They think that God does not listen and does not keep his word, when in reality they have misunderstood the promises regarding prayer. By studying Jesus' promise that whatever you ask the Father in the name of your Son, you should not be interpreted as the Father all do exactly what they want.
• Prayer is asking God for help, not a demand that he acted.
• God looks at each sentence in his infinite wisdom and ineffable love.
• Answers to prayer are not a kind of testament to the power of God and divine action.
• God is not subject to any contractual obligation (responsibility) that forces or strive to give all he asks his people, God is sovereign and does as he pleases.
• They believe that when two people agree in prayer is granted, and forget that this promise applies to the discipline of the church and not to specific requests (Matthew 18:19)
Passages that clarify that requests motivated by selfish desires or oppose the will of God, are not answered (Sgto. 4:3)

Conclusion

Prayer is an essential element for growth and the path to spiritual maturity. Is direct communication with God, we have a balanced and nutritious including prayer worship, confession of sin, worship, praise, thanksgiving, intercession and petitions. Accepting answers to our prayers and His will in our lives.
